The Artist

I’m a botanical artist based in Aberdeenshire, inspired by Scotland’s wild plants and landscapes, from the hills of the north-east to the Cairngorms.

I studied Botanical Illustration at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh and graduated with Distinction. My training taught me to look closely and notice the small details that give each plant its individual character.

FROM HILL TO STUDIO

My paintings begin in the wild places of Scotland,
shaped by the plants and landscapes I encounter there.
